Common questions
How do I make a favicon.ico file?
Add your logo, adjust the crop, and press Download icon pack. The ZIP has favicon.ico with 16, 32 and 48 px sizes inside, plus PNG versions.
What sizes does a favicon need to be?
The pack covers the common ones: 16 and 32 px for browser tabs, 180 px for the Apple touch icon, and 192 and 512 px for Android and web apps.
How do I add a favicon to my website?
Unzip the pack into your site's root folder, then paste the link tags from Paste into your site into the head of your pages. A README in the ZIP explains it too.
Is the favicon generator free?
Yes. It is always free and the icon pack never counts towards the daily download limit.
Is my logo uploaded?
