HDR to JPG
Turn off the glaring HDR brightness.
How to use HDR to JPG
HDR to JPG turns bright HDR photos into normal JPGs. Newer iPhones and Android phones save many photos as HDR: a normal picture plus a hidden brightness layer that makes lights and skies glow on some screens. That can look harsh on Instagram, in emails and next to other photos. This tool removes the brightness layer and saves a plain JPG that looks the same on every screen, with an option to make it smaller too. It works in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
- 1

Common questions
How do I turn an HDR photo into a normal photo?
Drop it here and press Download. The HDR brightness layer is removed and you get a normal JPG that looks the same everywhere.
Why does my iPhone photo look too bright on Instagram?
It's an HDR photo. Some apps and screens show its extra brightness, so lights and skies glow. Converting it to a normal JPG here stops that.
Does it lower the quality?
No. The picture is saved at full size and high quality unless you choose a smaller size. Only the brightness layer is removed.
Is it free?
Yes, with the usual free downloads each day. Credits or Pro give you more, and big batches.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
