- 4
Adjust Block size or Blur amount, add as many areas as you need, then press Download.
Common questions
How do I pixelate a face in a photo?
Press Find faces and every face it finds is covered with an ellipse. Or choose Ellipse and drag over a face yourself. Set the Block size, check the preview, then press Download.
How do I blur a number plate?
Pick Blur or Pixelate, drag a rectangle over the plate and raise the strength until the letters cannot be read.
Can pixelation be undone?
Once saved, the hidden pixels are replaced in the new file, so the original detail is not stored in it. For sensitive text, Black bar is the safest choice.
Is my photo uploaded when I pixelate it?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device. That matters when the whole point is keeping something private.
Can I save as PNG?
Yes. Under Save as, choose JPG or PNG.
Is the pixelator free?
The free plan gives you 5 downloads a day at full quality with no watermark.
