Poster Splitter

One photo, printed big across several pages.

How to use Poster Splitter

Poster Splitter prints one photo big, across several sheets of A4, US Letter or A3, so you can make a poster on an ordinary home printer. Choose how many pages across, and the tool works out how many down from the shape of your photo. Every page gets crop marks and a label, and a guide page shows where each one goes. A sharpness meter tells you how the poster will look before you print. It all happens in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded.

Common questions

How do I print a picture across several pages?

Choose your photo here, pick how many pages across, and download the PDF. Print it at 100%, trim the margins along the marks and join the pages in the order shown on the guide page.

How big can I make the poster?

Up to 10 pages across. The sharpness meter shows how the print will look at that size, so you know when the photo is being stretched too far.

Which paper sizes work?

A4, US Letter and A3, with upright or sideways pages.

Why don't my pages line up?

The printer probably shrank them. Print again with Actual size or 100% scale, not Fit to page.

Is it free?

Yes, with the usual free downloads each day. The whole poster PDF counts as one download.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The PDF is made in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device.
