How to use Rotate & Flip
Rotate & Flip turns photos the right way up, mirrors them and straightens tilted horizons. It is for sideways phone photos, upside-down scans and selfies that need flipping. It is always free, and your photos are never uploaded.

Choose your photos, or drop them anywhere on the page.

Under Turn, press Left, Right or 180°.

Under Flip, press Mirror or Upside to flip it.

Use the Straighten slider for small tilts, then choose Crop to fit, Fill white or Fill black for the corners.

Press Download, or download them all as one ZIP.
Common questions
How do I rotate a picture 90 degrees?
Press Right to turn it 90 degrees clockwise, or Left to turn it anticlockwise. Then press Download.
How do I flip or mirror an image?
Press Mirror to flip it left to right, or Upside to flip it top to bottom.
How do I straighten a crooked photo?
Drag the Straighten slider, which goes up to 45 degrees either way. Choose Crop to fit to remove the empty corners.
Is the image rotator free?
Yes. Rotate & Flip is always free and never counts towards your daily downloads.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The rotating happens in your browser and your photos stay on your device.
