Split Scanned Photos
Several prints on one scan, cut out and straightened.
How to use Split Scanned Photos
Split Scanned Photos cuts out every print from a flatbed scan, straightens it and saves it as its own photo. Scan four or five photos at once and get four or five separate files, at the scan's full detail. Your scans are opened in your browser and never uploaded.
- 1
Lay several prints on your scanner with a little space between them, and scan the whole page.
- 2
Choose your scans, or drop them on the page. The photos on each are found and straightened.
- 3
Check them. Press Adjust to move a photo's corners, add one that was missed, or remove one.
- 4
Tap a photo to leave it out, and use the turn button to put any sideways ones the right way up.
- 5
Press Save, or Restore their colours to open them all in Restore Faded Photos.
Common questions
How do I split a scan with several photos into separate files?
Add the scan. Each photo on it is found, cut out and straightened. Check them, then press Save to get them as separate files in a ZIP.
Are the photos straightened?
Yes. Photos lying at a slight angle are turned straight. Drag the corners if one needs adjusting.
What if a photo isn't found?
Press Adjust, then Add, and drag the box onto it. Photos with white borders on a white background can need this.
Do the photos lose quality?
No. They're cut from the full-size scan, and saved as top-quality JPG or lossless PNG.
Are my scans uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
