Camera Time Fix

Line up two cameras' clocks.Always free

Two cameras at an event are rarely in sync. Line them up so the photos sort in the right order.

How to use Camera Time Fix

Change the date and time saved in your photos to fix a camera clock that was wrong, or to line up two cameras so a shoot sorts in order. It shifts the EXIF date taken forwards or backwards without touching the picture itself. It works with JPEG photos and is always free.

  1. 1

Add the JPEG photos from the camera that was out, or drop them anywhere on the page.

  2. 2

Under How to set the shift, pick Type it or Match a photo.

  3. 3

For Type it, choose Later (+) or Earlier (−) and enter the days, hours, minutes and seconds.

  4. 4

For Match a photo, choose a photo and enter the time it should have been.

  5. 5

Download each photo, or press Download all as ZIP.

Common questions

How do I change the date taken on a photo?

Add the photo, choose how much to move the time, and download it. The EXIF date taken, date digitised and date modified are all moved by the same amount.

How do I sync photos from two cameras?

Add the photos from the camera that was out and use Match a photo. Pick one taken at the same moment as a photo from the other camera and enter the right time. Every photo moves by the same shift.

Does changing the EXIF date reduce quality?

No. Only the date text inside the file is changed. The picture is never re-saved, and the file names stay the same.

Does it work with RAW or HEIC photos?

Not yet. It works with JPEG photos only. Other files show as not supported.

Is Camera Time Fix free?

Yes. It is always free and never counts towards the daily download limit.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The dates are changed in your browser and your photos stay on your device.
